What Car Park Jetting and Cleaning Involves
We split the car park into zones and work through them one at a time, so drivers can still park and a full closure is rarely needed. Deck surfaces, traffic lanes, ramps, kerbs and expansion joints are cleaned, and the drainage channels, gullies, catch pits and internal drainage runs are jetted clear.
Biodegradable degreasers are only used where oil staining needs them, and are always neutralised and disposed of safely. All wastewater and silt is captured, filtered and contained using vacuum recovery systems, so nothing is washed into the drainage we have just cleared.
A car park of 50 to 100 spaces usually takes 1 to 2 days, and 100 to 300 spaces takes 2 to 4 days. Larger sites are cleaned on a phased schedule agreed with you.

How Often Your Car Park Should Be Cleaned
Silt and oil left in gullies and catch pits is what turns a heavy downpour into a flooded lower deck. The right cleaning cycle depends on how hard the car park works:
High traffic car parks: every 3 to 6 months
Office and commercial car parks: every 6 to 12 months
Residential car parks: once a year
Drains and gullies: at least every 6 months, whatever the site
We can set this up as a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, with evening and weekend shifts so the work fits around your operations.
